Duelund 12AWG Power Cable

Shielded power cable made with 12AWG Duelund tin-plated copper conductors and Wattgate connectors, one meter in length. Assembled in the USA.
About the conductors:
The Duelund DCA12GA600v wire is a modern update to the vintage Western Electric WE16GA cable. This version has been designed for power cable and general DC applications and uses a black PolyCast dielectric.

About the construction:
Cable construction was based on the Chris VenHaus "Flavor 1" recipe:

• Live and neutral conductors tightly twisted into a pair and padded with cotton.
• Tin-plated copper shield applied over live and neutral conductors. This shield is connected to the plug end (rather than the component end) of the ground.
• Ground wire (Southwire 12AWG MTW un-plated copper, 600v rated) spiraled around the shielded pair counter to the live/neutral twist direction.

All internal connections have been treated with DeOxIt Gold G5 contact enhancer. The final product is lovingly wrapped in a TechFlex braided PET sleeve.
