Up for sale are General Electric 6072A JAN Black Plate Vaccum Tubes
Black plates, new in box, true NOS with clear date codes (1984-1986).
Tubes are well balanced, with matched pairs available on request for no extra charge.
The 6072 is a low noise, sturdy tube built for
military and industrial use, and was specifically constructed for low
noise in heavy field and mobile applications.
They are the top choice for 12AY7
substitutes in modern times hands down. A good portion of vintage and repro Fender amps use these in their V1, V2 or both sections, as well as high end microphones, hi-fi audio amps, etc.
I have a ton more top quality vintage and rare tubes available that will be listed as time goes on.
All of our tubes are fully tested on our optimized curve tracer equipment, shorts test performed on Hickok 600A.
Values for plate current, Rp, Gm and Mu are detailed below.
Corners test simulates natural voltage
spikes under real operating conditions and tracks plate current variations. I also personally audio test every tube I sell for microphonics. You can buy with confidence knowing every tube is fully vetted and you are getting the full picture of what you are buying.
If in the rare chance there is a problem, contact within 72 hours of purchase.
