Classic CD player in excellent condition, rated conservatively. This machine is built like a proverbial tank-- incredibly solid. It is a top loading machine that uses a heavy puck to secure CDs. I have recently had a new laser installed and it sounds better than ever. It is a dual mono machine using one Burr Brown PCM 1796 DAC chip per channel, and each channel has it's own power supply. Fantastic reviews on both Positive Feedback and 6 Moons which compare the machine very favorably to others far exceeding it's price. It is an extremely natural and involving sounding player. It can be used as a transport; I never felt the need to do this.  Original owner's manual, remote, power cord and double box included.
