Avalon Acoustics Compas in Premium spesial finish for sale. The speakers are in mint pristine condition. I am the first owner. They will be delivered in original packing as you bought them from an Avalon dealership. 

The speakers are highly resolved with lots of micro details, and very airy. It creates a big 3D soundpicture with lots of depth. The midrange is very natural creating a lifelike image size and dynamic realism. There are no sibilants, and in the case of the Compás I
find the high frequencies and midrange to be creditably revealing without any obvious over-hyping of the presence region to make them articially engaging. Whether listening at low sound pressure levels or winding the wick up to ‘party time’, the Compás is remaining consistently well balanced and never appear stressed. The Compás consistently get voices right, avoiding coloration. The bass is to died for, the Compás pack a mighty punch, and the bass is clean and deep - very deep. 

The Compas is physically bigger and substantially heavier than the Indra II weighing in at 72kg each, although please don’t think of these as just a bigger version of an Indra II.

The Compas has additional cabinet deadening and crossover redesign to ensure that its performance is fast, clean and hugely dynamic and will excel at playing back all types of music. It is still an Avalon design through and through, it doesn’t take much of a listen to realise that, the huge holographic soundstage is as captivating to listen to as ever!

They are perfectly phase coherent and as a result the rhythm and timing of the Compas is absolute world class.

The two 9 inch bass drivers mean the Compas can deliver scale, proper bass which is dynamic and fast and extends to a satisfyingly low level; the cabinet has become a little narrower (compared to the ougoing Eidolon) so dispersion is improved and there is less in-room reflection, because of this they are a little easier to set-up in a room as well.

Priced at £40700.00 with a ceramic tweeter, the Compas is available with a Diamond tweeter for £49500 in the standard finishes of Cherry, Walnut and Curly Maple.

The premium finishes of Walnut Burl, Maple Burl and Bird Eye Maple are £45000 for the Ceramic verison and £47200 for the Diamond version.
