Aric Audio Super 300B

For sale, Aric’s Audio ultimate 300B mono amp. This is a custom built amp with many top shelf parts including the gorgeous Brazilian Rosewood chassis hand built by Core Audio Designs. The amps has about 400 hours. I took the delivery of amp in April 2019.

The reason for sale, I have simplified my setup and since switched over to SS Integrated. Aric’s 300B amp was paired with Leben RS-100U and Shindo Labs Monbrison preamp (already sold). 

If you’re in a market for 300B amp, this is your opportunity to grab one of kind custom built. This amp is super quiet with absolutely the lowest noise floor (I never owned an tube amp prior to these that were so quiet as these Mono’s). With the elite tubes like EML 300B Mesh and Telefunken NOS EL84’s, you get that emotionally engaging soundstage, pinpoint imaging, silky smooth vocals....all conveyed in spades. There is no shortage of dynamics, control, audio purity, details and realism synonyms with 300B tubes. 

The amp is compatible with wide variations of 300B’s (Mesh or Solid Plate) through Low and High Current Toggle Switch setting. I ran the amp with EML 300B Mesh (low setting) and EML 300B XLS (high setting).

Both RCA / XLR inputs are available for complete system flexibility. Here is another plus, the amp is grounded for REL subs. I ran a pair of REL subs with high level input connection, the optimal way of getting the best performance out of your REL’s. 

Cosmetically amp is in great shape except one scratch on one of the mono amp top plate (see pic 3). Rated 8 conservatively due to the hand built bespoke finish.
