Component History...
I purchased this pristine McIntosh Multi Disc MCD 7008 Player from the Original Owner in 2021. It has been in a smoke ,child & pet free environment its entire life.
Having owned several McIntosh CD Players, the build quality ,fit & finish of McIntosh CD Components are equal to or better than CD Players two to three times their cost.
This MCD 7008 uses the amazing & reliable changer "The Music Bank" transport from Nakamichi which stores the CD's in a cartridge inside. You can store up to six discs inside the player as well as a seventh disc used in single disc mode which you can operate via the HR-7008 Remote Control also included.
A copy of the manual ,which will be included shows the many different playback options this very unique player offers...
Cosmetically...
This McIntosh is 9/10 in every aspect. It looks as it just came out of the box New. As with the best of McIntosh Components their CD Players have that McIntosh pedigree . Attention to details of the design & features offers the ultimate in performance that will impress even the most discerning Audiophile...

I would say leaning toward the warmer side of its presentation of the music of your choice. I have a McIntosh MCD 7000 along with a Prima Luna Prologue 8 Tube CD & lastly just added a Resolution Audio Opus 21...
Key Performance Specifications:

So no cold sterile digital outcome here, only the music as it was recorded & created. As with any very good Audio System setup when you have the synergy that you are looking for the addition of a component like the McIntosh MCD 7008 will bring you emotionally deeper into the music you will feel it like the "Live You Are There" experience.
A good system needs to be realized not over analyzed otherwise the listener will become the "sterile component" ...
