Micro Acoustics 2002e - broken cantilever - from the golden age

Not sure how to actually rate this, as it is in very good condition except that the cantilever is broken... I’m continuing to pare down my collection, and this one is a bit painful, as it is a serious collector’s cartridge.
If you are looking, you know about the late great and much missed Micro Acoustics cartridges. With this cartridge, M-A addressed the challenge of blending the transient ability of low-compliance cartridges with the maximized tracking at low VTF of high-compliance cartridges in a radical design that still behaves in the high-compliance realm. It’s low mass - 4 grams, which makes it a super match for any of the wonderful low-mass tonearms, like the SME 3009 S2 Improved, the Infinity Black Widow, the Signet XK50 and AT 1100 (the same arm), some Micro-Seikis and Luxmans, etc. The key is that it directly couples the stylus cantilever to the electrets, which provides virtually perfect transient ability. The Electret transducer is a permanently polarized dielectric device which provides superior response because of its inherent linearity from 5 Hz to 50kHz. The Passive micro-circuit matches the transducer’s characteristics to the preamplifier’s phono inputs within 1%, and makes the cartridge output purely resistive, eliminating the effect of cable capacitance on frequency response. This one lost most of its cantilever, and thus needs a rebuild, which both VAS and Joseph Long (cartridge_retipping-5 on ebay, Needlestein on Lenco Heaven) can do. In fact, I’m selling this because Joseph is rebuilding an M-A 3002 for me, and it will live on an Infinity Black Widow originally meant to house the 2002e I’m now selling. Rebuilt 2002e carts go for around $650, but compete with cartridges way into the $2000s.  This cartridge redefined the state-of-the-art in the glory days of vinyl. There are very very few of these available any more: this is a chance to get one of the finest cartridges ever made if you are willing to send it to a great rebuilder.
