VTL MB-450 Series III Signature mono block matt black finish amplifiers for sale. Two full set of tubes.
I’m the second owner. They came to me directly from VTL. The original owner had sent them in for the Series III upgrade which was the equivalent of a complete rebuild, so they were like new when I purchased them in 2018.
In anticipation of selling, I had them serviced and tested for several days by the VTL dealer. I also replaced all Gold Lyon KT 88 output tubes which now have had about 30 hrs of breaking time. New input tubes as well. These amps have been maintained in a clean non-smoking environment and are in excellent condition. I am the second owner. I’m throwing in an entire back up set of input and output tubes that still have thousands of hours of use. All original packaging and boxes. I will ship both amps on a pallet.
The VTL amps give you the option of running at: Tetrode = 425 amps or Triode = 225 amps. They also have variable DF (damping factor) switches which allow the user to adjust the output impedance for the amplifiers.
Buyer pays PayPal fees and shipping. Theses amps are heavy and best shipped on a pallets which I will provide.
