REL 212/SX Subwoofer

Up for sale is a REL 212/SX in excellent condition. It was purchased this year from an authorized REL dealer for a system that never came to be.  As a guy who has heard or owned the Carbon Special and S/812, this sub is simply on another level. In fact, the 212SX is in the conversation for the best subwoofer at any price! Don't take my word for it though:    



BUYERS WILL EXPECT REL’s 212/SX to drop deep and go loud – and it does – but what stands out even more than this premium subwoofer’s weighty performance is its nuance, precision and sense of timing. Enabling this intoxicating mix of sheer low-frequency power and refined output are the upgrades REL has made to the spec of the previous 2015-era 212/SE. Amp and filter network have been re-engineered, the cast alloy cones of the front-firing 12in drivers and rear passive radiator are carbon-backed for improved rigidity, and a new down-firing carbon-weave radiator further tunes the bass delivery of this towering, sealed cabinet.

This REL's performance is surprisingly nuanced – yet there is no lack of clout. Massive explosions: check. Stomach churning LFE: check. Nosebleed-inducing deep notes so far above 100dB volume they will rip the mic out of your iPhone trying to measure it: check. 





Trades might be considered if it facilitates a deal (i.e. cash & trade bait for the 212).     


A local cash and carry transaction is highly preferred, but I will consider shipping.
