These are a pair of marvelous rosewood speakers! They are working and sounding fantastic as a full-range tower speaker. Both the speakers look great, with new original B&W tweeters (see pictures), just replaced and break-in to perform. All connections are perfect in the back, and the cabinet is excellent. Both speakers come with new grills. These were my primary floor standing system: I don’t have boxes, so they must be pick-up. These are great speakers, paired and matched in the factory (005935 & 005936 serial numbers) to own if you aspire to a gorgeous sound.

FROM B&W:

CDM 7NT

The CDM 7NT is a floor-standing loudspeaker, exquisitely finished in a choice of real wood veneers.

The extra volume and drive unit gives an extended bass response.

Technological features include Nautilus™ tweeter, Kevlar® mid/bass driver, bass radiator with mushroom construction dust cap, and Flowport™.

Technical highlights

The tweeter on top is the famous Nautilus B&W’s Tweeter: this technology ensures that the sound remains focused and time-sensitive and that the stereo image is presented with unparalleled three-dimensional accuracy.

1 x 165mm woven Kevlar® cone bass/midrange

1 x 165mm woven paper/Kevlar® cone bass

Kevlar®: B&W developed and patented the method of using Kevlar® for loudspeaker cones to reduce unwanted standing waves.

DuPont originally created Kevlar® for use in bulletproof vests.

Flowport™: Golf ball aerodynamics theory points the way towards lower distortion reflex ports.

Dimples improve the way the air flows over the surface of any object. In the case of reflex ports, they offer a significant improvement over simply flaring the port ends in reducing airflow turbulence at each end of the port; so you get less chuffing noise and less compression at high sound levels.
