Aidas NEW Mammoth Gold cartridge

Called the Mammoth because the body is made out of really old mammoth tusk. I kid you not!

And Gold because it is their top of the line cartridge.

Personally, I don't care what a cartridge is made from, as long as it works. And this absolutely does. And amazingly well.

One thing Bob didn't really mention that I think may be the Mommoth's strongest feature is that it matches or betters the best bass I've ever heard from any cartridge. And it's not just big robust bass, it is well defined and three dimensional bass. Texture is among the best as well.

It has all the good stuff.

I would like to make sure one thing is clear. The wire that is standard in a Mammoth "Gold" is 6N OCC .03 highest quality copper wire. The "Gold" moniker only means this is their top of the line cartridge.

Still has the gold pins as well as all the other "Gold" features. There is much more to the Gold model than the the wire. 

Aidas even throws in some excellent Russian vodka.
