Not much needs to be said here. One of the most legendary tonearms ever produced. And rightly so.
Frank, knowing my penchant for carbon fibre, used real CF on several parts of the SQ's he built for me. You can see those parts in the pictures. This arm uses african blackwood for the armwand. Brass main & fine tuning counterweights as well as the mounting base. The build quality is so good it good be mounted in a box frame, hung on a wall and used as art.
I had an 11" Ref SQ I used for 6+ years on many different TT's. So impressed was I with Frank's engineering prowess and build quality on tonearms, I commissioned him to design a unique pivoted linear tracking tonearm for the turntables I build. Since I build and sell the Schröder LT, I won't be using the two Ref SQ's I have left. They deserve to be enjoyed, not sitting on a shelf. No waiting. It can be on your TT in a few days.
