Salk Sound Song3 Encore

For sale is a pair of matte black Salk Encores with the midrange driver that is normally in the SoundScape 9.5.  It makes the speaker a little less analytical. These are true full range (response down 3 dB at 25 Hz) speakers with tight bass. Imaging and soundstage are as good as I've heard. I'm selling to get speakers to use with a low powered (think 20 watts) tube amp.  Jim Salk runs these with 60 watt tube amps at shows as the impedence curve makes them not that difficult to drive. I tried to get a picture of the only mark on the speakers but you can only see it from a certain angle. It's from a piece of packing tape getting stuck to it. They are heavy so local pickup requested for now. I have all boxes, manual, test CD and anything that came with them.  Please ask questions.
