This turntables design is extremely original and elegant, all relevant accessories are included in this sale:
Screwdrivers, hex keys, syringes and oils, counterweights, anti-skating leads, template jig, heavy clamp, plus 2 mats (acrylic & graphite) the choice is yours. This S9 is a lovely sounding machine, I’m simply down-sizing my system.
I have all the original packaging/ moulded foam pads, set up manuals, S9 plinth. The record player will be diligently packed. RCA cables are & were not included. The cartridge mounted on the head shell is not included in the sale, however everything else related that you see in the photographs are included with the record player.
The photographs were taken by me of the actual record player. Please also notice a silver disc plate on the arm board. This is a baseplate from a Little Fwend tonearm lift, this can easily be removed as its just taped down.
This S9 comes in a reinforced carton: 20"x20"x8" (WDH); approx. 45lb mass.
This S9 v3 is a very limited production model with only a handful produced by Simon Yorke every year. The turntable includes a milled aluminum sub-plinth in place of quartz plinth of the previous model and a redesigned RCA block which improves over previous versions by decoupling it from the arm board. Includes a beautiful spindle record weight and two platter mats: graphite and acrylic. A DC motor powered from a SMPS is switchable from 33.33 to 45 rpm on the fly, it'll even run off of a 9v battery. Simon Yorke's turntables are world-renown and the transcription 'table of choice by the US National Library of Congress for restoring and maintaining rare and one of a kind recordings of Americas past. Simon Yorke designs sound sublime plus optically they are a functional piece of vinyl playing art. Shipping is at buyers sole cost and expense. International buyers welcome. The turntable has a supplied power transformer that regulates the current AC power service in your country with no issues. Simply connect the lead from the power regulator to your AC power cord. The turntable rotational speed can be simply altered if required using the supplied adjustment tool and pentameters located at the rear of the motor unit. These speeds (33/45) are preset but can be adjusted as described.
