I'm upgrading to a modified Otari MX5050, so the RT-707 needs to go!
If you're looking for a super clean example, here it is. It took me a long time to find one this nice, and I have nearly $2k invested in it.
The heads are in original condition with very little wear. The deck was professionally recapped with Nichicon Fine Gold electrolytics; some transistors were also replaced. The deck was aligned and biased for MDS-36 by John Ledbetter at Northwest Audio Service. All work was done less than 2 years ago. I have verified the frequency response and alignment with a fresh MRL calibration tape - it is spot on. The MRL tape will be included with the deck, should you desire to make your own adjustments. Amazingly, this deck also comes in the original Pioneer box!
You would be hard pressed to find another RT-707 this nice, especially for my asking price of $995 + shipping.
