Kingsound Queen V Hybrid Electrostatic Speakers. Gem of a speaker! $5,000 MSRP

Kingsound is like the Martin Logan of East Asia. Except they manufacture more than just speakers. In their portfolio, they offer amps, CD players, headphone amps and headphones (the latter two products are quite extraordinary actually). The Queen V speaker you see here is a hybrid design where an electrostatic panel is mated with a 5.25" woofer that supplements the  LF that is amiss from the electrostatic panel. Working in harmony, the speakers offer a frequency range of 45 Hz to 22 kHz. Sensitivity is 86 dB with a nominal impedance of 6 ohm. Speakers are fairly current hungry so figure around 100W as the "comfortable" number to drive them (manufacturer does recommend a minimum of 50W). Each speaker has a footprint of one square foot and stands about 46" tall. Like every other electrostatic speakers, they need about three foot of clear space around the speakers to let it "breathe". The impressive thing about the speakers are their crystal clear sound, focus soundstage, holographic imaging and a tight, fast sound. In the small to medium size room, they will fit in perfectly and if you can give them the space to breathe, they will bring some of the best musical reproduction from a sub-$5,000 speaker.

Speakers look really good. Minor scuff marks here and there but nothing major. Wall wart power supply (two units) are included and speakers will be securely packed for safe shipping. Multiply by two for actual shipping charges.
