This is a remarkable opportunity to purchase what is effectively a new pair of Alon Phalanx loudspeakers. These were removed from boxes but not installed, sitting in a temperature controlled room for years, untouched and never used. All original packaging materials. These are available to listen to at Audio 202 in Far Hills New Jersey. Photos are of the actual speakers at Audio 202. Despite being literally band new, the main woofers were both recently professionally re-foamed as the surround was brittle from non-use.
As per Ultimate Audio review: “I'm tempted to call this system a musical instrument, but because these speakers impart no sound of their own, I can't. All they do is perfectly re-create the source material you provide them. And remember, the words are synergy, component compatibility and experimentation. I strongly urge you to listen to Phalanx/ Poseidon; I intend to enjoy mine for a lifetime.”
