Dynavector top of the range DRT-XV1t. This cartridge is the culmination of Dynavector's 45 years' of moving coil cartridges design innovations.
- The unique square shaped armature manufactured from a carefully selected material that is both corrosion resistant and impervious to age deterioration.
- 16 micron coil windings that only Dynavector can manufacture are wound around square shaped armature to match the square shaped hole in front yoke.
- Alnico column magnets to stabilize the magnetic circuits and increase linearity of the magnetic distribution within the air gap.
Cartridge has been retipped by VAS in late 2021 ensuring many more years of service.
Cartridge has been tested on a few LPs on a TW/Graham setup. Thunderous bass, clear midrange, open soundstage and grain free highs and exceptionally quiet in the groove. No surprises as this is an absolutely top tier cart from a company with long standing credentials.
Cartridge comes complete with original manual, mounting hardware, walnut case and dual inner/outer boxes.
