From Polk's golden era, these are circa 1989 and pure vintage fun.  I bought them in 2008 from the original owner.  I then had all cross-over parts replaced with real nice stuff (sorry, don't recall the specifics and can't find the before/after cross-over pics), replaced all tweeters with Polk "new" aftermarket, replaced binding posts, and some (but not all) internal wiring.   All drivers are original.  Very clean condition considering their age.

Huge sound stage and remarkable imaging.  Nice detail of all instruments, and these do an excellent job in the mid-bass and bass regions.  They like a lot of power and current and can really crank, and sound damn good.  Sale includes an upgraded SDA cable that ties the two speakers together (see pic), but I did not use this feature.  Full disclosure, over the past five years I have driven them with McIntosh MC452, and we listen LOUD often, and for long, fatigue-free listening sessions (sometimes 250-400 watts sustained, e.g. for front row concert experience).  The speakers are rated to handle up to 1000 watts.  They continue to please each and every time and can really get a party started.  And for those of us of a certain age, they're just fun to look at and recall yesteryear(s).

I have $7,500+ invested in these, but I realize they just don't sell for that much.   My asking price is $3,200, and they are one hell a lot of speaker for that amount.

These are located in western Maine.  Local pick-up welcome.  Or, I would load them in the truck and take a road trip to meet you half way somewhere w/i 300 miles of my place (but you'll have to be flexible on schedule).  Really cannot ship them, as they are just too large and heavy, and crating is way beyond my abilities.
