The Kef Q series was released in 1997 and retailed for $1500/pair and featured key developments in driver design and cabinet technology. Using KEF Uni-Q drivers these three way speakers feature four speaker cable input terminations to accommodate Bi-wire or Bi-amp connections. I have the factory clips so that a standard
two-connector wiring can be used. The cabinets feature a curved front baffle with specially molded trim rings and interlocking ports. They have an attractive satin like black finish and are in like-new condition and sound crystal clear with terrific imaging. I had them connected to a Arcam AVR 390, Pro-Ject Carbon Debut EVO turntable, Pro-Ject tube box S2 phono preamp, Bellari tube preamp. I replaced these with a pair of Monitor Audio Silver 330
speakers using Kimber Kable Bi-wire cables. I have the original boxes and the Q series
brochure. Since they weigh 44 pounds each shipping would not be cost effective so LOCAL PICK-UP is best. Also they were designed and manufactured in the U.K.
