Shielded RCA cables, 1 meter in length. Assembled in USA. I tested these cables and was buying supplies for another pair the next day. No kidding--I've put up pictures of the little jumper-size ones I made. These cables gave me full, clean sound across the spectrum. I was particularly happy with how the bass filled out in my system.
About the Conductors:
Signal and return conductors: Duelund DCA20GA 20ga tin-plated copper wire with oiled cotton insulation. This is a modern refinement of vintage tinned copper wire.
About the Connectors:
Keith Louis Eichmann Innovations (KLEI) Copper Harmony RCA plugs use copper plated in silver and an innovative low-mass design to improve conductivity and signal transmission.
About the Construction:
I put a twist on the signal and return conductors, then wrap the pair in a PFA (Perflouroalkoxy) braided sleeve, followed by a tinned copper braid for shielding. I then slide on some PVC heatshrink and a Techflex multifilament nylon sleeve. See the pictures for a play-by-play.
Each shield is connected to the return terminal on one end of the cable. The grounded sides of the cables are marked with green heatshrink.
About the Builder:
I enjoy building cables and finding new ways to get people exactly what they want for their system. If what you see here is not exactly what you’re looking for, just send me a message. I am able to accommodate a wide range of lengths, colors, connector choices, and conductor materials.
