Bauer Audio DPS 3

Well loved DPS3 in perfect operating condition. Rated 6/10 only for the dent shown in the photos. Includes the rare and beautiful German made 3 phase supply (US power spec). One cosmetic blemish/dent in the front pear wood panel. See detail photo below. The plinth is drilled for a Schröder Reference Tonearm (M3 @ 25mm spacing), which could be made available for sale if needed. Or the plinth can be re-drillled, or replaced if desired. I do also have a second, spare top as well.

See reviews online by Jason Kennedy in Hi-Fi+, and the late Art Dudley in Stereophile (though the latter is the Ayre US version of the table, which used an entirely different power supply manufactured by Ayre.) As well as others.

From AD: The DPS sounded like the most precisely made, brilliantly set-up Linn or Roksan turntable I'd ever heard. Its musical tightness and rightness, in terms of pitches and rhythms alike, were unsurpassed in my experience: If there exists a domestic playback product that can do a better job of nailing those musical essentials, I have yet to hear it. The DPS was also, as far as I could tell, the most completely uncolored turntable I've heard. Similarly, it was among the most spatially amazing source components I've had in my home: Playing stereo records, its ability to suggest depth and the precise layering and positioning of voices and instruments was almost revelatory.

This is an extraordinarily great-sounding table, if PRAT is your thing, this could be an end-game purchase. No original box or manual, but will be professionally packed for safe transport.
