Audion Stirling KT 88 SE Anniversary Edition--Price Lowered For Quick SALE

This amp is only available due to the fact that i am moving to some highly inefficient speakers which requires high solid state power.

I bought this as a change of pace amp for my 88 db 4ohm speakers and the sound was blissful and drove those speakers to perfection in medium large room.

The transformers on this amp are some of the best i have seen and the build quality is impeccable. The 18 watt power rating is very conservative and this amp will drive all but the most difficult loads without a hitch.

Audion Sterling KT88 Anniversary stereo is hard wired point to point using better graded components and larger, hand-built Audion wound output transformers (EI96). The volume control on the front and stereo inputs on the rear means that a pre-amplifier is not necessary with this unit. The amp is auto biased. It will take almost any KT88 (Unit is supplied with JJ tubes) delivers a conservative 18 CLEAN watts into 8 ohms.  Therefore, it has the power of competitors boasting 36-40W.

The Audion Sterling Stereo KT88 is a very conservative rated at 18 watts. This larger output power amp is better suited for more difficult loads, the KT88 is a robust tube that has a good overall sonic performance. The Sterling Anniversary is a good entry level hard wired (Air Wired©) Class A power amplifier, sonically very airy with good response.  It sounds far better than its price suggests. In most cases competing with products 1.5 - 2x its price point.
