The Duntech PCL-400 'Black Knights', are the very last creation for the late designer John Dunlavy. Dunlavy's loudspeakers are used by audiophiles and professionals around the world. These are rarely seen for sale.
The PCL-400's, while quite large, were actually designed for high-performance home audio. All of the drivers are by Dynaudio and operated in a D'Appolito array with Dunlavy's usual first-order crossovers, in conjunction with a stepped or sloped baffle. This creates an important time coherence with a rich, full, 20-20Khz sonic experience that is hard to beat. The previous owner stepped up to Wilsons costing 10X the price.
All drivers are original, but we had to put new surrounds on all of the woofers. The speakers were burned in and sound fantastic. For this price, there 's just nothing out there with this performance level. The only negative is the low WAF (Wife acceptance factor).

CONDITION - Overall the base and tops are painted gloss black so they easily show scuffs, however they are solid. The grills are clean overall. No cat attacks. All drivers are tested and operating perfectly. They play loud and very clean. Soundstage is impressive.
SHIPPING - We ship worldwide with UPS, Fed-Ex and various truck freight lines. All items are packed and padded with care if the original packaging is deemed insufficient. DELIVERY - A commercial address or pick-up at the freight terminal are preferred since freight delivery to a residential address may incur an additional lift-gate ($50-$65) and residential fee. ($50-$75).
