With cables come a myriad of opinions. MIT is a company that has pioneered the philosophy that a standard speaker cable has a very narrow band at which it articulates best. They refer to this as a single pole cable. By expanding the amount of poles in a cable they can cause it to perform better across a wider frequency range. This doesn't add anything to the music but simply allows more of the original signal to sound alive and open presenting a more real experience.
MIT's CVT Terminator 2 uses an in-line network that increases the poles to 15. You might say it articulates 15X better across the audible frequency range than any standard speaker cable. This is definitely noticeable. The CVT T2's were a Stereophile's Recommended speaker cable every year from 2012-2019 and used by many reviewers.
This is a clean trade in pair, 8" in length, with banana's on the amp end and large spades on the speaker end.
