VPI Industries Classic 1

The original VPI Classic turntable that stunned the audio world when it first came out because it was comparable to turntables that cost several times its original cost, which was just under $3K, including tonearm (but not cartridge). This unit has relatively few hours on it given that it is over ten years old. Maintained beautifully and including an acrylic dust cover (an additional $350 to purchase now).

It has a black base and a Soundsmith Zephyr Mk II cartridge. Here's how the cartridge was reviewed:
