After selling 3 million turntables worldwide over 30 years, Technics did a limited run of just 3000 tables (500 limited to the Japanese market only) of this special and rare table. While taking ques from earlier SL-1200 models the GLD features special 24K gold plated components and a limited edition commemorative number plate. This table is clean and includes an original Technics dust cover and the Odyssey road case. There are a couple of small edge dings and the lower chassis has a square mark from being in the case. Cover is super clean and the gold components are excellent. Otherwise its been fully serviced, lubed and is ready to enjoy and show for decades to come as it increases in value.
The SL-1200GLD's are selling at near $10.000 in mint condition w/o the dust cover.
