Legendary Duos Speakers, by Voce Audio -- The Ultimate Speakers for Vocals! -- (Sound Video Link)

Voce means "Voice" in Italian. This is a pair of legendary speakers from Voce Audio. The Voce Duos were designed by Vince Solbes, a former San Francisco Opera tenor. Technical design for the speaker crossover was in partnership with MSB Technology, with headquarters down the street in the Bay Area. Voce also partnered extensively during these years with MSB to demonstrate at audio shows, so that gives you some idea of the caliber of performance we’re talking about with the Duos speakers.

Many audiophiles heard the Voce Trius model at RMAF and CES, which was the company’s $65K flagship model; it was released earlier and sold many more pairs. The Duos was the smaller and bigger bang-for-the-buck model, produced later.

This pair has been well cared for and is in like-new condition. They were used off and on in the Jaguar listening space for about 4 years in the Jaguar listening space. The body is constructed from phenolic (a machinable, low-resonance resin, commonly used in very high-end speakers like Wilson Audio) and the finish is high-gloss Metallic Black Ferrari paint.

As you’d expect from the ears of a professional opera singer, the magic of Voce speakers is in interpreting voices in the most realistic and hypnotic manner we’ve encountered. When paired with our Lamm LP2.1 phono preamp, Pavarotti’s voice soared. The Duos’ ported cabinet design is extremely versatile and has enough low bass to play hard rock well enough that you won’t need a subwoofer.

 If you love the beauty and emotion of voices, the Voce Duos is one of the best. And you can see from the pics, they're stunning. We’ve kept the condition absolutely Near-Mint, with nothing but the most minor imperfections.
