Apex Audio Denver brings you a stunning pair of Tannoy Kensington GR in absolutely pristine condition. We are the oldest and largest Prestige series Tannoy dealer. They are complete with all factory packing, the walnut accessory box, owners manual, gold key, bridging cables, wax, spikes, and spike cups. All accessories and wax are unused. The Kensingtons needs little introduction as they are the subject of many rave reviews and informative YouTube videos. They are certainly the sweet spot in the Tannoy range offering the most bang for the buck. Their 10" dual concentric driver with Alnico magnet is more articulate than the 15" dual and gives up little in the midrange. Bass extension is a very solid 29Hz and efficiency is an easy to drive 93dB. We have often driven these with 8WPC SET amps with glorious results but they equally reward a well balanced high-power solid-state amp. The adjustable crossover allows both the treble energy and crossover slope to be fine tuned to achieve the perfect balance for your room, equipment, and personal preference. They are equally at home on everything from rock to classical and everything in between competing with speakers well above their price. Note that there are a couple of marks a the veneered corners of the bases extending a few millimeters off the floor that were there when they were unboxed that are very difficult to see.
