NAIM NAC 282 Preamplifier including NAPSC power supply

Legendary NAIM NAC 282 Preamplifier. Purchased approx. 2010. This is still the current model which now sells for $8599 + sales tax in the US.

Serial Number = 274709, which indicates manufacture date of 2009.

This has been kept in a Audioquest rack in a smoke free media room since 2010 and only moved when I moved house. I am selling it to upgrade to the Naim NAC 252.

Serious enquiries only - if you are a NAIM fan then you know what this is already and will also understand that while the NAPSC is included (to power the digital and control circuits) you also need either a FLATCAP XS, HiCAP or SuperCap power supply if used with NAP250 or better power amplifier. (Not needed if using a NAP200).

Again, to be clear (as I've had some customers who don't realize what they are buying) - this is a Naim Pre-Amp. In addition to the included NAPSC, it requires a HiCAP or SuperCap to work plus a power amplifier (NAP 200, 250, 300, etc) to drive loudspeakers.

The unit itself is in great shape for its age (2009-2010) with a brand-new factory-fresh remote control (I replaced the original one as the batteries leaked) and included SNAIC-5 interconnect.

When mounted with fellow NAIM components in a rack, it looks virtually brand new from the front panel. The only thing "wrong" is that the illuminated Naim Logo is a bit faint - one of the LEDs must have burnt out, and on the partnering NAPSC the single green LED has burnt out. There are a couple of faint discolorations on the top of the unit, but no gouges or deep scratches. These are hard to see normally but can be seen under certain lighting conditions. These will be invisible if in a shelf/rack. Please see attached photos
