McIntosh MC-601 Quad Balanced 600 Watt Monoblock Power Amplifier

McIntosh Designed the MC601's with enough raw, clean power to drive just about any loudspeaker made.  Not only do they deliver 600 Watts of power each, but they do it with more than 100 Amps of output current.   Being a true quad balanced design from input to output, virtually all distortion and noise are wiped away leaving absolutely glorious, dynamic music and emotion.

All output transistors are driven in unison.  Each employs matched current gain making them capable of smoothing out any crossover distortion.  Using double-balanced, push-pull circuitry, the amplifiers are fully balanced from input to output.  Add in the amazing Autoformer and they create the optimal match between the output stage and the speaker so the amps performs at their absolute best at all times.

Being one of McIntosh’s most powerful stereo amplifiers, they also have the looks to get the attention they deserve.  If you have not heard these, they are an endgame product and will provide years, if not a lifetime of enjoyment.
