For sale is a Marantz AV8805A with a Marantz VS3003 HDMI switcher. The Marantz AV8805A was originally an AV8805, which I purchased used on 1/11/21, and it received the AV8805A upgrade kit on 6/15/21. Overall, the unit is in excellent functional and cosmetic condition, and it will be shipped in its original box. If interested, I also have a rack mount kit that I can throw in for free.

Thanks Yes, that is correct. It is an upgrade kit sold by Marantz and performed by their authorized service center. It essentially swaps out the HDMI board in an AV8805 for that of an AV8805A. Link to product offering below:

As for why I'm selling, I put an Anthem AVM90 in my theater, and the wife hates two interfaces between the theater and the family room despite the AV8805A originally being in the theater. As a result, I'm swapping out the AV8805A for an Anthem AVM70.
