Cosmetically...

As the photos will show this Krell Component & Remote looks close to mint 9/10 for sure. This Classic Krell, when seen in person, is quite formidable & impressive all at once...
 

Operationally...
 

The many connection options, considering the vintage of this Krell, is quite impressive. In the spirit of full disclosure I only used this Krell as an Audio Analog Two Channel Preamplifier...

Having the luxury of both Tube & Solid State Amplification to select from,
I can speak to the "Ears on Experience" of both choices.
On both, the Krell was dead silent with no added color nor veiling of the music in any of the various soundstage presentations that my setups have .

The combination of the Amp section of the McIntosh MA-7900 with the Krell, this solid state pairing took the music to the "Audio Autobahn" full speed ahead, without restraint, on this road trip.

All music genre's were handled as the music was recorded. 
The presentation went wide, deep, and far into the musics creative intention !

The Tube Amp choice was the power section of the VAC Super Avatar Integrated, with it's 80 wpc kt-88 pedigree.

 Krell's Masterful Potentiometer along with its superior internal parts together they certainly came with a "Black Tie & Tux" presentation !

That special VAC sound that the Super Avatar is known for was on full display with the Krell.  You could feel the musical presentation, not just hear it.
The Krell fine tuned the tube presentation in a sophisticated manner that had me looking for the musicians in my living room.

The last ring on the cymbal and piano note decaying into the night left one wanting more bubbly !

The Krell came dressed as a solid state 
guest and left dressed as tube!
