Proceed BPA 2

This Proceed 125 watt per channel Dual Mono amplifier (Original MSRP $2,395), was used as the rear 2 surround channels amplifier on a high-end 5.1 channel home theater. It was Never driven hard, in this capacity.  I am still using the amplifier's bigger brother purchased at the same time (Proceed HPA 3), with no problems. The amp has some scratches, mainly on the bottom where they cannot be seen.  The performance and, or the sound are not affected.

I went back to two channel in 2017, and the amp hasn't been used since. I Plugged it back into my system, to make sure it is operational. It still sounds & operates great. The BPA 2 is a true dual mono amplifier (Dual mono down to the transformers). The only part shared is the power cord. The amplifier has both RCA & XLR connections.

From the Proceed manual:

Rated power @ 8 ohms = 125 watts, @ 4 ohms = 250 watts

Frequency response         within .1 db from 20hz - 20khz
Input Impedance              30 ohm balanced
                                        100-ohm rca

Voltage gain                    23 db balanced
                                       29 db single ended
Output impedance          Less than 0.05 ohms

Included are the PS Audio 1.5-meter perfect wave Ac3 power cord (Original MSRP $189) & the Analysis plus Copper Oval in micro-1-meter XLR interconnects (original MSRP $379).

I include the Analysis Plus Copper Oval in micro XLR cables, so you can immediately start enjoying the low noise benefits that come from "Common Mode noise rejection" using XLR connections.

From the PS Audio website:

To get the most out of your system’s performance, you must rely upon specially constructed power cables that focus on peak energy delivery and superior shielding.

From the Analysis plus website:

These interconnects were designed using our patented hollow oval geometry to control current density in a form suitable for braiding from pure oxygen free copper. The signal lines are then wrapped with a shield to provide protection from EMI/RFI. The result is a super quiet, extremely neutral cable.
