B&W (Bowers & Wilkins) 801Black Walnut/Gloss Mint

This is a mint set of Bowers 801n speakers.

I’m very skeptical to rate them a 10 rating.. but I can see nothing wrong, no noticeable blemishes, markings, grills, drivers, tweeters, bindings are perfect Even cabinets show no markings or signs of wear or use.. almost they they just came out of a time capsule., I’ll rate them a 9/10 only due to age..  it one could argue that it should be a 12/10. The logic being these speakers are perfect and show no signs of wear or use.. come with custom wooden crates.. perform like new.. and the newest replacement model being about $30k range in cardboard boxes..  I also have 802D3’s and 800D3’s albeit they are not D4’s these speakers can definitely keep up with the siblings.. Aslo the extra large driver and bigger sub cabinet… can deliver some serious slam as compared the the smack on the D3’s.. by no means are these D3’s.. but at this performance,  this condition,  custom  wooden crates  at this price less than 5x it’s predecessor…. It’s a 12/10 in my book.. so for those whom see the glass half empty, or don’t have a life, are bored, and just surf the web but never buy anything. just love to nit  pick, challenge listings only  find someone to talk with them it’s a 8/10!! .. let’s  appease them.. For those seeking a  tremendous value  equation, appreciate a museum like  condition piece of history, art and performance!!! Id suggest it’s  a 12/10 rating!!! But let’s keep that our secret!!!  Don’t want to upset the no lifers.. Serious buyers only!!!  You need more info on specs, production years …etc.  those types of questions .. it best to get the information from the web, reviews, and the factory specifications. It would be far more accurate than what we can provide.. we have over 200 items listed here on AG and well over

Full asking Price includes custom wooden crates and foam inserts ($750 value)  for safe shipping. Shipment will go by Freight  only. Please add $195 for residential or liftgate requirements on delivery. Please see pics as part of description. Also we added pics of a sample of the custom crates.. the B&W 801 Crates will be upright. The opening panel door will also act as a ramp to roll speakers in and out of crates..custom foam insert and speakers will cautiously be wrapped.. crates are constructed to be reusable for east stair age or shipping in the future.. When not in  used easy to disassemble all panel and store panels in a flat storage position.. very handy for speakers this large, heavy and delicate..
