WORKING Bang & Olufsen Beogram 8002- VISUALLY EXCELLENT EXAMPLE with SMMC3 Cartridge

 
I am selling my Beogram 8002. I have had it for many years and repaired it at Soundsmith in 2018. Upon returning from vacation, I noticed the arm decided not to move, so I decided to sell as not working.

After receiving a low offer, I decided to revisit this, looked up the problem, and found a solution on Audiokarma. The worm gear needed to be re-lubed, and now all is working. I play-tested a few records today at 33RPM and 45RPM, and all worked flawlessly.

I also purchased a new servo belt based on a recommendation, but have not installed that. It will be included.

It comes with a Soundsmith SMMC3 cartridge with approx 50-75 hours of use. This cartridge is $349 new. This was a spare turntable in my art studio, hence the low hours. I have three other turntables, so repairing was not a necessity. I only tried the simple solution with guarded optimism after the low offer and was glad I did.

The turntable has the original 45 adapter as well as the stylus brush. It is reasonably clean overall, as you can see in the photos. The table is in good condition and will be appropriately packaged, and the transport locks will be engaged upon packing so the table will not be spinning or moving in shipping.

Sorry for the dust in the pictures. I could retouch, but that would not be very ethical.

I do not charge PayPal fees as I see this as the cost of doing business, and I prefer to ship FedEx ground. I personally deliver packages to the depot, so I have had nothing but success in the shipping, and I have 100% positive feedback on Audiogon.
