B&W CM9 floorstanding speaker. Award winner and highly recommended. $3,000 MSRP

This is one highly entertaining pair of speakers. At the top of the CM-series, it is highly regarded by users and reviewers alike. With an original $3000 MSRP, it is a terrific bargain. At this price, you are getting a 3-way speaker that features their outstanding Nautilus tube loaded aluminum dome tweeter that is responsible for the smooth and highly detailed high notes, their iconic Kevlar mid-range driver and twin 6.5" bass cones. Listening to these speakers, you will be drawn to how balance it sounds. The highs were nicely mated to the slightly punchy mid-range and backed up by tight bass notes. Bass was not particularly deep or voluminous but it was very punchy and tight. In a small or medium size room, it was weighty and can give the impression that it sounded deeper that it is rated for. These speakers love power and the more powerful the amp they are mated to the more robust they sound. Careful positioning is also a major contributor to how good they can sound. They can create one of the best soundstage found on any speakers costing up to $5,000. Just remember to keep them slightly forward from the rear wall to allow the rear port to breathe some depth to the soundstage. Frequency range is 30 Hz to 50 kHz with a nominal impedance of 6 ohm and sensitivity of 89 dB. Each speaker is approximately 39" tall (42" tall with the baseplate and spikes), 8" wide and 12" deep (baseplate measures 12.5" wide and 14.5" deep).

Speakers are in very good condition. Some very minor scuff marks/nicks from use but nothing major. Finish is gloss black. We don’t have the original boxes so pickup at our store is preferred.
