• Low metal mass: The small voltages that travel through interconnects do not require big heavy wire. In fact, low metal mass in the wire and connectors helps reduce capacitance and preserve the integrity of the audio signal. Big heavy wires and connectors look nice but negatively impact the sound with atrocious skin effect that causes high frequencies to arrive too soon, causing listener fatigue. • Dielectric matters, a lot: In simple terms dielectric is a fancy word for the insulation. Air is best. Our wires float in a hollow tube with minimal contact. Cotton and Teflon are next.
