McIntosh C1100T and C1100C

Excellent examples of the C1100 two box preamp from McIntosh.

These particular units were purchased at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020 when nothing was available due to factory shut down.   McIntosh did have this C1100 pair but they are marked as refurb.  McIntosh represented the refurb designation to be a cosmetic issue on the case which was subsequently fixed by replacing the chassis top.

They were tested, installed and then 2 years later personally swapped out for a new C12000 in April.  It has since been in its boxes.  The units operated flawlessly for the customer.  He is a delivery Doc and maybe put 300 hours total on them.  100hrs on the original mac tubes which are included.  We swapped all tubes for Gold Lions which are still installed and have the remaining 200 hrs on them. 

They were played for another 48 at our shop before storing them.  They sound beautiful and as dead quiet and neutral as a flagship McIntosh preamp should.  The fact that these measure and ARE as quiet as solid state is a testament to McIntosh's commitment to perfection.

Customer registered the C1100 so there is no remaining warranty per McIntosh rules on resale.

Original remote, manual and boxes in great condition.
