The most fun you can have legally for under $100...Very cool ADC cartridge - the very highly regarded XLM-II - in the Integra form factor. This has the original stylus, and though it is from the '90s, it plays wonderfully. This is an integrated cartridge/headshell, with the body made of carbon fiber to reduce mass. It utilizes two really nice design features to minimize tracking angle and offset angle error with two separate adjustments: VTA adjustment and overhang adjustment (range of .32"). These are both variable at the adjustment lock, which also serves as a mass adjustment (one can use all four "locks" or just two - and this particular cartridge actually has all four! This is rare...) Use of the extra set of weights adds 3 grams to the mass. I love the VTA feature...it has helped on an SME 3009 when I use different thickness of vinyl, as the VTA adjustment at the arm is a PITA.
Diamond is ADC's Diasa Elliptical, .0003" x .00007"
Frequency Response: 15Hz to 24kHz
Tracking Force: 1.2 +/- .3 gram
Output: 5.6 mV
Weight: 12 grams (15 with all four weights)
with original box and some paperwork.
Really sweet cartridge, but I have way to many, and this doesn't get the playing time it deserves...
