TAD Reference 1 tx-eb

Up for sale are my latest model, and top of the range TAD R1tx-eb purchased new through my local TAD dealer. If you’re looking at these, you know they are regarded as one of the best speakers ever made. Prior to these I owned the R1 MKII’s, only recently upgrading to these. I have either owned or listened to many of the ‘best’ speakers in the world, and after first experiencing a demo of the TAD E1’s by Andrew Jones himself I was completely bitten by the TAD bug. These are R1tx’s are simply in a class of their own. TAD have been the first speakers to genuinely get me off the upgrade merry go round from brand to brand.

The R1tx come in the new emerald black finish which looks spectacular in the flesh. I have all of the original shipping packaging, manuals, spikes, accessories etc so you will feel as though you are purchasing a brand new item. They have been cared for and used only in an audio specific room with no smoke or pets and therefore immaculate condition.

I won’t go on about how these sound, as it’s likely if you’re looking at my ad you’ve had a listen to these elsewhere, suffice to say I’ve never experienced speakers that can play every style of music with absolute ease across the entire frequency range. The bass is fast, tight, dynamic and the midsand highs are to die for. There are zero weaknesses or gaps. Amazing at low listening levels, and equally amazing when pushed hard. These keep going and going with no compression. Nothing brings the true emotion of music like these babies do.

I’m a gas and oil worker and spend very little time at home. This is my second pair of TAD R1tx, I wasn’t happy with the finish of my first pair so they were sold and shipped to Florida. The Pomelle Sapele (mahogany) veneer on these speakers is absolutely flawless. These speakers are absolutely pristine and have less than 30 hours on them. 
They are approximately 5 months old.
