For sale is a pair of immaculately cared for Wilson Audio Alexandria XLF in stunning Macadamia finish. They are now 10 years old and have been lovingly cared for during their lifespan by the one single owner. Upon their 10th birthday every single driver including resisters have been changed to brand new ones supplied by Wilson Audio at well in excess of $20,000 including installation costs. Each driver had been painstakingly removed and re-installed with WBT pure silver solder by industry professionals. 

Why change every driver? The owner wanted to have the same perfection he'd enjoyed over the course of 10 years for another 10 years to come. Certainly, the old drivers had plenty of time left in them but the time had come to make a full change; at the very least for prosperity. 

Since the driver change in March 2022 - the owner has retired and his wife looking to downscale. A pair of speakers tipping the scales at half 1910 pounds (866kg) isn't quite practical so the decision was made with great sadness that the speakers must find a new loving home. Please note to ship these speakers tips the scales at a tonne (655 pounds EACH)! 

They have always been polished using only Wilson Audio recommended polish, there are a few marks hardly identical to the eye and a one such scratch on the front of a speaker. Besides these the speakers are in perfect condition. The owner a great lover of classical music and fine arts never pushed these speakers near what they're capable of. 

Looking at release notes of these speakers one distinct reference can always be found. 'These speakers are as close to perfection as possible'! I would agree as although they don't flatter music, they embody the true essence of what something would naturally appear. For those seeking the very height of definition, the Wilson Alexandria XLF is the very peak of Everest. 

Please note these speakers will cost anywhere from $4,000+ to ship as they are extraordinarily large. Wilson Audio not only make excellent speakers, but they spend a considerable amount of time in how they're packed. The boxes are painstakingly constructed so the speakers can be shipped all over the world and then even when set up they come with casters for correct positioning and propagation. 

This is not just art for Wilson Audio its Science and that's what you're paying for rather than the comments many trolls have quoted on reviews from Stereophile etc. One can only the time and care involved in designing perfection.

Sufficed to say this is a reluctant sale as most are at this end of the scale. I really do hope that the next owner loves them as much as the first.
