Stenheim Alumine 2 SE reference monitor speakers w/matching stands. Stereophile recommended! $18,500 MSRP

When the Alumine 2 hit the market several years ago, it did two major things. It established Stenheim as a serious high end speaker manufacturer and it sets a new level on what a reference monitor speaker can sound. We have sold several pairs of Stenheim speakers before and can testify to how top quality their sound is. It had an openness, definition, the tight reins on the musical presentation that its whole presentation was jaw dropping. The pair you see here is the Special Edition (SE) version which has a cost no object crossover that Stenheim built with the most premium parts you can find in the industry. Internal wiring and connectors are also improved upon over the non-SE version. The aluminum-alloy cabinet is built and assembled to perfection which you can see where the joints meet. Each speaker houses a horn loaded 1" dome tweeter and a 6.5" High-Strength cellulose fiber cone. Together they give the speakers a response from 45Hz to 30kHz. Nominal impedance is 8 ohms with a sensitivity of 93 dB. They are very easy to drive but we fed them with 100W for good measure. Dimensions of the speakers are 9" width, 13" height and 11" depth. Included Stenheim stands are 29" tall so the height of the tweeter is about 40" off the floor. Speakers can be secured on to the stands via screws which really proved to be beneficial given the improvement in the musical presentation.

Cosmetically, the speakers are in great condition. Some scuff marks on the speaker stands but nothing major. We have the original boxes for the speakers but not stands (will be packed in a generic box) and will ship in four boxes when the stands are dismantled. Pls contact us for a freight quote.
