Denon POA-6600

One pair of Denon POA-6600 250-watt monoblock amps. Both are in very good COSMETIC condition. I've owned these for over 30 years and loved these amps. I've tried to have them repaired 3 times, first at Norman's Electronics in Atlanta. They repaired one unit, then Unit 2 failed, then Unit 1 failed again. They were replaced by a NAD T762 and sat in our dry basement for maybe 10 years. Several years ago I took them to Modular Electronics in Roswell, GA. They went through both amps and said that while they could repair them, they would probably NOT be reliable and suggested selling them for parts only.
Next, my friend who sold them to me and now owns Western Electric in Rossville, GA asked me to let one of his highly-regarded techs look at them. He worked on them over several months without success, and made the same suggestion as they made at Modular Electronics: sell them for Parts Only. He said Norman's had botched both original repairs.
Both immediately go into protect mode when turned on.
These are available for local pickup in Atlanta or for shipping at buyer's expense. I do not have the original boxes but will properly pack them. I commute to Nashville every few weeks and could deliver them there or somewhere along the way.
Just like the infamous car ad that read "This car will get you from A to B, just don't try to take it to C..." these amps are being sold as a pair FOR PARTS ONLY!
