LFD NCSE integrated amplifier

This is a re-listing of this LFD NCSE integrated amplifier.  The amplifier was originally thought to be a MKIII version because "NCSE III" is written as the model number on the rear panel.  But, the original owner says that it was purchased before the MK III version came out.  So, it's up for sale again at a reduced price.

The NCSE is a very simple, high quality amplifier - no remote control, no phono stage; just fabulous sound.  We sold the LFD Mistral amp here at Overture Audio back in the late 90's and thought it was the best sounding integrated for the money at the time.  Of course, the NCSE easily surpasses the Mistral, as well it should for $6200!  This one will come with its original double box and packing, as well as the original IEC cord and 4 isolation feet.

There is an issue with the finish on the front panel that caused me to give the amp a 7/10 condition rating instead of the 9/10 rating that it generally deserves.  If you look closely at the photos, it looks like there are some scratches on the front panel.  They aren't actually scratches, but whatever kind of baked-on finish LFD uses seems to have had some thin cracks in it from day 1.  It wasn't easy to capture them in the photos, but you can clearly see one just above the left hand selector knob in the second photo.
