The MR71 Tube based tuner from McIntosh was one of the best tuners they made. It features a very sensitive multiplex FM tuner section and tuned input circuits and carrier noise reduction for excellent reception and sound quality.
This unit has been through our authorized McIntosh service center and has had an internal physical cleaning including all controls. All lamps were replaced as well as the 12AU7 input tubes. All caps measured within spec. Unit is operating nicely. Cosmetically it could use a new wooden case and some polishing.

The unit is fully serviced, tested and working. Has some heavy wear on the wood case. Some scratches on the metal trim, but the glass and lettering are quite nice.
