Up for sale are a pair of 1.5M RCA-terminated AudioQuest Earth interconnect cables. Sonically and electrically the Earth's are in perfect condition. I rate them 8/10 on the Audiogon grading scale. Earth IC’s are on Stereophile’s 2022 Recommended Components List, including the recently published Fall edition.
On its website, Audioquest describes Earth's conductors and features, as follows:
- Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) Conductors
- FEP Air-tube dielectric
- 72VDC Dielectric-Bias System (US Patent #7,126,055)
- Carbon-based six-layer noise dissipation system
- Triple-balanced geometry (separate ground reference conductor)
- Cold-welded, hanging-silver plating directly over high-purity red copper plugs
The Earth ICs come with AudioQuest’s black zippered case as shown in the pictures. They are fully broken in and ready to use. I do not have the AQ box.
