Vacuum Tube Audio Ph16

This is the top of the line phono stage from VTA, I bought this in kit form and did the work myself. I was using this with a SoundSmith (The Voice) cart. It has many upgrades including the coil in the power supply instead of the resister. I actually bought this and the Preamp from VTA because of the recommended upgrade one of the gentlemen (It may have been Roy) recommended replacing the coil in the St-70 with a new one, I freaked when I heard how much of a vail had been lifted so they got my business for the phono stage and Preamp. The other upgrades are most of the caps have been upgraded to Mundorf or Audio Note.Note the two caps that are facing backwards compared to the other four on the main board are set correctly, the output wires come out in the middle of the board. The 6922's are the stock that came with the kit.  It comes with a upgraded power cord from VTA. The sound of this phono stage is crazy, the dynamics are out of this world. Concerts every night with a nice big soundstage. Pink Floyd was more of a symphony that made you learn all that went into a record and what the Artists required of the recording studios'
