PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND COMPLETELY
for sale is a Bryston SP-3 surround preamp / DAC. The unit has problems. While it does pass audio and sounds perfect, there is some problem with its functionally that prohibits the display from coming on and makes all the controls sluggish. You can change sources, and raise and lower the volume, but that’s all you can do. Again it sounds great, understanding the limitations.
Bryston service wasn’t sure whether it could be fixed or not. I wasn’t willing to send it in. Nice used ones sell for $8K+ - so I certainly have priced mine appropriately. Cosmetically it’s at least a strong 7, maybe better. See pics. Note that this is absolutely a final sale, no returns, as I have listed it as poor condition.
