SANSUI CA-3000 PREAMP ( Pristine)!

You are looking at a completely refurbished Sansui CA-3000 Reference level preamplifier. Included in the rebuild are all new Audiophile  electrolytic capacitors throughout the unit , Including the Power supply caps. All diodes were replaced with mill-spec units. all transistors were replaced with new higher end units. Any marginal resistors were replaced with Takman and Dale precision audiophile resistors thought the unit.  Any small value electrolytic capacitors were replaced with much smoother hi-end film caps in both the phono section and all other boards. Every switch and control was disassembled, cleaned and lubricated along with a new balance control.The work was performed Jan. 2023 by Avatar Engineering an $900  service which takes 10 hrs. to complete, it is ready for another 45 years of beautiful music. This is a true collectors item and sounds as good or better than most modern $5,000+  preamplifiers especially the phono section which rivals our $10k Threshold Reference system. Please bear in mind that these preamps are selling world wide for up to $2500 for units that are 45+ years old (Time Bombs!), which absolutely must at least be recapped if not rebuilt.
